Eli is a machine learning researcher in his early twenties, currently studying in Ithaca after formative years at Stanford and in startup labs at the cutting edge of AI. He grew up asking big questions and building things to answer them, and was equally drawn to writing and engineering, ethics and algorithms. By high school, he was mentoring younger students and publishing essays on the societal implications of emerging technologies. Today, he’s known for his humility, insight, and ability to think clearly in fast-moving environments. Friends describe him as energetic, obsessively creative, and highly perceptive.
